Natural Snow Buildings is a psychedelic folk/drone duo from Vitré, France. Formed in 1997, the band consists of Mehdi Ameziane and Solange Gularte. They have released many albums, but many of them were released in very small quantites.

Tropes that apply to this band:

  • Epic Rocking: It's easier to list of the songs of theirs that aren't this. Their albums count as this too, many of them being longer then 2 hours.
    • Of particular note is "The Great Bull God" from their album Night Coercion Into the Company of Witches, which lasts one hour. The album from which it comes lasts three.
      • Speaking of songs that last one hour, there's also "The First Conjuror" from Sung to the North.
    • The longest album they've done is Daughter of Darkness, which lasts almost six hours.
  • Longest Song Goes Last: Night Coercion Into the Company of Witches ends with "The Great Bull God", which lasts approximately 1 hour.
  • Precision F-Strike: "A Ten Guardian-Spirits Motherfucker" from The Dance of the Moon and Sun.
    • "Bloody Snow" from The Winter Ray also contains the only instances of swearing on the album.
There are tracks on the bloody snow
    And I wonder how
This motherfucker gets out alive of this hole
With all these killers all around
  • Sampling: Used occasionally in their music. They usually don't sample other songs, however, usually choosing to sample field recordings and spoken word
    • An example of the latter is "Ethyl Bromo Acetate" from The Winter Ray, which samples an interview of a protester talking about a corrupt police officer pepper spraying a crowd of protesters.
  • Would Hurt a Child: The police officer mentioned in the interview sampled in "Ethyl Bromo Acetate" from The Winter Ray, who pepper-sprayed a group of protesters that included a group of small children.
