The night is associated with evil, monsters and nightmares, and the Grand United Alliance of Evil is very well aware of that. To emphasize on that, the Night Terrors was founded to terrorize heroes and evil's other enemies, with the goal to demoralize them and making them too scared to fight them. Composed by monsters, horrors and other horrible gribblies that lurks in the night, they hope to teach the other alliances the true meaning of Nightmare Fuel. In addition, horror movie stars and creatures associated with darkness are welcome to join the Night Terrors.

The Night Terrors do not have a main headquarter for their scheming. Instead, they have secret hideouts littered throughout the Pantheon and its forests, where they make plans during the day. When daytime's over, they will come out and stalk their enemies. We pray for those who dare come out to the forests during night time when the Night Terrors are out to "play".

Since most members of the Night Terrors would like to see prolonged nights, this division has been working with GUAE Malum Magia to find a way to at least permanently increase night time.


The Master of Darkness

The Ebon Dragon, God of Hindering Heroic Actions (The Shadow of All Things)

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A black disc so dark that it seems to suck away all light
  • Alignment: Stupid Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Ebby was already a member of Melkor's Masterminds, and the thought of a division made for shadowy creatures was too good to be true.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Though he won't pledge full loyalty to Melkor, he sees him as a good ally. The feeling is mutual.
  • Threat Level: High, bordering on Extreme. As someone who is opposed by every single being with goodness in their hearts, the GUAG is most affected by him.

The Prince of Shadows

Pride, God of Unexpected Revelations (Pride the Arrogant, Selim Bradley)

  • Intermediate God, bordering on Greater God
  • Symbol: An ouroboros shrouded in shadows, or an assortment of eyes and mouths on a black background
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for Joining: As one of Father's kin, he felt obliged to join the GUAE. With the rise of the Night Terrors division, he became one of the first picks as a founding member, since he is one of the few members who works well (maybe even better) during the day.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. He's only loyal to Father, who isn't exactly loyal to Melkor himself.
  • Threat Level: High. As mentioned before, he can work just as well, or maybe even better during the day as he can at night. He also has mastery in controlling shadows, and those who don't know him will be surprised to find a little boy eating them alive.

Other Members

Atropos, God of Dream Devourment (Bane Elemental)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: Nightmare
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for Joining: To dethrone Ysera and spread his nightmares across the pantheon.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. Atropos has nothing against Melkor's plans, but he cares only for the opportunity to give nightmares to as many as possible.
  • Threat Level: Medium-High. Atropos possesses nasty disables at his disposal. He can enfeeble his enemies to heavily reduce their fighting strength, seal them inside nightmares to set up ambushes, and lock them down on the spot to make it easier for his allies to kill them. The last ability even ignores spell immunity, meaning that there is very few ways to be protected against it.

Balanar, The God That Goes Bump In The Night (Night Stalker, The Legal Maphack, Ballernar)

  • Lesser God. Ranks up to Intermediate God during the night or in sunlight-less environments.
  • Symbol: His Nightmare Face
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for Joining: With the rise of the Night Terrors division, Balanar was directly invited to join them for his expertise in night combat and the ability to summon the night. Feeling that his goals align perfectly with the division itself, he saw no reason to not accept the offer.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Medium. Melkor's and Balanar's goals do not clash, but other than that Balanar isn't strongly loyal to Melkor.
  • Threat Level: High. During the night, Balanar becomes a Lightning Bruiser who can defeat many in 1vs1 combat, and his abilities makes him especially capable of killing enemy magic users before anyone can stop him. In addition, he can temporarily summon the night and at the same time reduce his enemies' sight, a power that can easily give the Night Terrors the edge when it comes to night warfare.

Freddy Krueger, Avatar of Nightmares (The Bastard Son of 100 Maniacs, The Springwood Slasher, The Man of Your Dreams, Super Freddy, Rap Master Freddy)

  • Lesser God, Overdeity when in the Dream World
  • Symbol: A glove with very sharp fingernails
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for joining: Mostly For the Evulz. His other goal is to finally kill and destroy The Angry Video Game Nerd in revenge for what he did to him in the past.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. He plans to kill off Melkor when the war ends.
  • Threat level: High. Able to kill someone in dreams.

Oogie Boogie, God of [Plot-Irrelevant Villains

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His silhouette against the moon
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Partly because he got bored of having little to do in the Pantheon, partly because he thought a group dedicated to terrorizing people sounded like fun. Also, complete control over Halloweentown.
  • Loyalty to Melkor:
  • Threat Level: Low.

Pitch Black, God of Phobia Knowledge (The Boogeyman, The Nightmare King, Kozmotis Pitchiner)

  • Demigod to potential Greater God. Pitch's power is directly related to the fear and belief of mortal people in his world, children especially.
  • Symbol: His form in shadow, alternately a nightmare
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for Joining: The Night Terrors needed someone who can figure out their enemies' fear, and who better than Pitch Black?
