Go To

3,913 wicks = 63 to check

  1. Mario & Luigi: * Canon Immigrant: Any OCs, of course. [misuse]
  2. Spawn (1997): Canon Immigrant: Created to replace Chapel was Al's murderer, Jessica Priest was incorporated into the comics in Spawn #61 in the lead-up to the movie — and Rob Liefeld getting kicked out of Image. [valid/adaptation]
  3. Inspector Morse * Canon Immigrant: The later novels depicted Morse as driving the Jaguar Mark 2 from the TV series. [misuse / retcanon?]
  4. Alphaville * Canon Immigrant: Alternate takes of several tracks from Marian Gold's solo albums So Long Celeste and United were included in the Dreamscapes box set, essentially adding those songs to the Alphaville song canon. [misuse]
  5. Royal Canadian Air Farce * Canon Immigrant: Mike from Canmore was only one of four radio show characters (other than politician impersonations) to make the leap to the T.V. show, where he would firmly establish his characterization and origins, before soon re-appearing on the (then-concurrent) radio show.
    • The other radio show characters to appear on the T.V. series were Dave Broadfoot's Sergeant Renfrew, Big Bobby Clobber, and the Honourable David J. Broadfoot, Member note  for Kicking Horse Pass.
    • Sergeant Renfrew and the Honourable David J. Broadfoot originated in Dave Broadfoot’s standup act decades prior to him joining the Air Farce troupe before the run of the radio show. [misuse]
  6. Gundam Evolve * Canon Immigrant:
    • Episode 3 ("GF13 017NJII G Gundam") has Rain use the Rising Finger, which was originally only mentioned in the technical design document and never featured in any canon material until this short.
    • Episode 8 ("GAT-105 Strike Gundam") has the XT404 "Grand Slam" greatsword, a weapon previously included with the Perfect Grade kit but not seen in any fiction.
  7. Just an Unorthodox Thief * The Cameo:
    • Daisuke Akimi, a mundane cop from The Garden of Sinners. He's more of a Canon Immigrant now because of The Nasuverse, and due to becoming a regular supporting character as Zenigata's partner.
  8. Call of Duty: WWII Zombies - Vivian Harris * Canon Immigrant: Originated from WWII's campaign mode before her character model was ported over as a secret unlock.
  9. * Howard, Marina, and Pearl from Last of the Summer Wine. They started out in a stage play version of the show, and got a good enough reaction to become part of the TV cast. [valid]
  10. * Palette Swap *** Blossomforth and Helia, both of whom debuted in "Hurricane Fluttershy". In the latter pony's first speaking episode, "Rainbow Falls", her voice actress was mistakenly credited for the former.
  11. The Defenders (2017) * * Canon Immigrant: While The Defenders exist as a team with varying line-ups for a long time in the comics, that particular line-up is the same as in the Netflix series The Defenders (2017), which before that series was seen as an In Name Only adaptation of the comic.
