Film
- Rogue One: In profile and especially from the back, and with guns heavily based on the MG-38, the Death Troopers greatly resemble Kerberos cops.
Literature
- A book on the films of Mamoru Oshii is titled Stray Dog of Anime.
Video Games
- Borderlands: The Crimson Lance mooks look quite a bit like Protect Gears.
- Girls' Frontline: MG3's stance in her default costume resembles Kazuki Fuse's appearance in one of the promotional posters◊ for Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade.
- Killzone: The armors of the Helghast are heavily reminiscent of Protect Gears.
- Manhunt: The Cerberus soldiers seem to be heavily influenced by the Kerberos Saga, especially their outfit's aesthetics and name of the unit.
- Wolfenstein: The New Order: One of the game covers and several of the armors used by Nazi soldiers and Ubersoldats appear to take their cues from Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, with the silhouettes and red goggles creating an unmistakable visual nod. Japan also becomes a puppet regime under Nazi Germany, much like it did in Kerberos Saga.
