There are multiple references to Imaginos and Blue Öyster Cult in general in Battle Angel Alita. Alita's robot body is called an "Imaginos body", and the villain Desty Nova is named after Desdinova. There is also a character earlier on in the manga with the band's trademark "hook-and-cross" logo branded on his forehead.
Fanfic by A.A. Pessimal, in the universe of Pratchett and Gaiman's Good Omens, has the demon and the angel getting alarmed about poets and dreamers based in New York in The '70s, who are getting too close to The Truth. Crowley the demon then subverts the philosophical speculations of a dreamer called Sandy Pearlman by making up some plausible bollocks about an immortal demonic entity called Desdinova. Desdinova is loosely based on Crowley's career to date, with the occasional bit of Aziraphale. Having fired Pearlman and his group with a lot of vivid misdirection, Crowley then stands back and lets their imaginations take them the rest of the way. As a bonus, he is key to Donald Roeser having a Near Death Experience which inspires "Don't Fear The Reaper".
