  • The Big Bang Theory: In "The Citation Negation", Howard beats Bernadette at Fortnite, so she decides to train with Denise to beat him. At the end, she and Howard have a rematch, and Bernadette is killed within seconds.

  • Henry Stickmin Series:
    • Right before the first choice junction of the Government/Allies route of Completing the Mission, Ellie Rose says, "Where we droppin', boys?".
    • One choice in said junction is to land on the communication tower. Shortly after a Toppat Clan member informs of the infiltration, another kills Henry and Ellie after quickly building a tower (Fortnite-style) to reach their altitude.
    • In every junction of the Bounty/Rescue route of CtM, Henry is given the option to try a dance-off with his opponents. He will begin to default dance upon choosing it, only to be killed off immediately.

  • In the unpublished dialogue for the Undertale alarm clock app (posted on the game's website), Undyne describes Sans doing a "finger-pointing dance" during a hockey game, only to get called cringe by Alphys, nodding to a memetic gif of Sans performing the default dance.

  • With Fortnite being a popular game with a considerable hatedom, SiIvaGunner has done its share of rips from the game, more than a few of which don't have any actual assets from Fortnite other than the rip name.

  • Family Guy:
    • In "Start Me Up", Stewie says to Chris that he's going to watch some people play Fortnite at the electronic store. This is because he's "not old enough to play it" himself.
    • In "Better Off Meg", Joe delivers the news of Meg's supposed "death" after he reveals that he leveled up in Fortnite.
    • In the Game of Thrones inspired segment of "HBO-No", Peter asks Joe if he's been participating in fortnight. Joe responds that he'd actually been playing Overwatch.
    • In "Bend or Blockbuster", Chris pretends to get in a heated Fortnite match while stranded in the woods. He imagines it in the style of a live streamer, and yells insults at children.
