  • Austin Powers parodies the over-the-top Veruschka photoshoot scene, given that the title character works as a fashion photographer in The '60s when he's not a secret agent.
Austin: Yes, yes, yes...NO, NO, it's not working...
  • Blow Out is a directly based on both The Conversation and this, with the incriminating evidence captured on audio tape instead of camera film.
  • The Conversation is based on the movie, only it is aural rather than visual and the main character listens to the record of the titular conversation to figure out its meaning.
  • In High Anxiety, which is otherwise an Affectionate Parody of Alfred Hitchcock thrillers, there is a scene of Thorndyke's valet Brophy blowing up one of his photographs to find evidence that Thorndyke didn't commit murder. Being a Mel Brooks film, it's taken to ridiculous extremes, with the final blow up being the size of a wall.
