In I'm Thinking of Ending Things, Jake has a copy of the movie in his room. At the end, he gives a speech identical to the one John Nash gives at the Nobel Prize ceremony, with himself and the people in attendance being put in unconvincing old person makeup like the actors at the ceremony in A Beautiful Mind.
Mentioned by David Sinclair in NUMB3RS fifth season episode, "Animal Rites", as a suspect in a professor's death is revealed to have schizophrenia, similar to John Nash. Both the series and the movie star Judd Hirsch.
