Bohman, who aims to become a next-generation Ignis, appears before Blue Maiden. Aqua refuses to accept Bohman's ideals, while Blue Maiden wants to take back Miyu's consciousness. Thus, they challenge Bohman to a Duel. Despite losing Haru, Bohman is disturbingly calm as he Duels against Blue Maiden. However, Blue Maiden doesn't back down, and fearlessly stands against Bohman together with Aqua.
This episode contains the following tropes:
- Badass Boast: Bohman claims to be the very embodiment of LINK VRAINS itself, and that Blue Maiden is naught but a gnat compared to him.
- It's Personal: Blue Maiden holds a vendetta against Bohman, and vows to defeat him and acquire the vaccine data needed to restore Miyu's consciousness.
- Oh, Crap!: Brave Max freaks out when he's unable to log out thanks to the instability affecting LINK VRAINS.
- One-Hit Kill: Subverted. Everyone assumed Bohman would finish off Blue Maiden with two "Coolant Hydradrives" (powered by "Judgment Arrows")... except he uses his three "Coolant Hydradrives" to Link Summon "Cubic Hydradrive Lord" instead.
- This Is Unforgivable!: Kusanagi holds Bohman in contempt; not surprising considering the latter sucked away Jin's consciousness and passed it on to Lightning.
