Blood Shepherd manages to deal with Lightning's tactics and gain the upper hand in the Duel. However, Lightning then summons more monsters to attack Blood Shepherd's Drones. At this point, no one can predict how the fierce battle between the two will go. Can Blood Shepherd really triumph against Lightning and stop him in his track?!

- Counter-Attack: Blood Shepherd concludes the fifth turn of the Duel by Fusion Summoning "Fortressdrone Beehive", powering it up to 5000 ATK by Summoning five "Drone Tokens", sealing "Judgment Arrows" with "Snatch Drone", and using "Capture Drone" to ensure "Legatus Legionis" can't be used for attacks, Effects, or Link Material. Lightning, however, works around this by using "Magica Alcum" to trigger and send "Judgment Arrows" to the GY and completely wipe out all cards in Blood Shepherd's Main Monster Zones and Spell & Trap Zones, and subsequently destroy "Fortressdrone Beehive" in battle with "Legatus Legionis", ultimately leading to Blood Shepherd's defeat.
- Pet the Dog: Blood Shepherd spends his final moments with Ghost Girl, reiterating his responsibility as an older brother before he disintegrates to nothing.
- Rage Breaking Point: Subverted. Lightning appears to briefly lose his cool when his "Legatus Legionis" is sealed by Blood Shepherd's "Capture Drone", but maintains his composure and successfully works around Blood Shepherd's Lockdown strategy.
- Sorry That I'm Dying: Blood Shepherd apologises to Ghost Girl for failing to protect her before he disintegrates to nothing.
- The Worf Effect: Blood Shepherd's defeat at Lightning's hands goes to show how much of a threat the latter and his organisation pose to humanity.
