Earth rescued Aqua, who was imprisoned by someone, and learned the truth about the Cyberse World's destruction from her. However, GO Onizuka, who was ordered to capture the Ignis, then appears and attacks the two of them. In order to protect Aqua, Earth begins a Duel against GO!

- Apologetic Attacker: Earth apologises to Aqua before shoving her off from his AI so that she doesn't get captured alongside Earth by GO.
- Blatant Lies: Exploited. Due to Aqua's ability to discern between truth and lie, she doesn't buy Lightning's claim that he's creating "Judgment Arrows" just to protect the Cyberse World from humanity.
- Cliffhanger Cop Out: No mention is made of Blood Shepherd threatening Emma in a previous episode when she reappears in this one.
- Evolving Credits: ED4 updates GO to show off his lankier build, which debuted in this episode.
- I Am Your Opponent: Earth confronts GO in a Duel to prevent him from going after Aqua, who was shoved away by Earth to prevent her from being captured alongside him.
- No-Sell: The co-linked "Invalid Dolmen's" Effect prevents itself from being sent to the GY by "Capaptera's" Effect.
- Oh, Crap!: Playmaker is shocked to see GO with a dull, yet intimidating expression after the latter uncloaks himself.
- Saying Too Much: Having revealed what he is really up to, Lightning imprisons Aqua and banishes her from the Cyberse World.
- This Is Unforgivable!: Earth doesn't take it well when Aqua reveals what exactly happened to her and the individual who was responsible for imprisoning her (aka Lightning).
- Voice of the Legion: Invoked. When Yusaku goes to inform Akira in the real world of the dangers that Lightning and his organisation pose, he communicates in a warped voice, in order to not blow his cover as Playmaker.
- Wham Shot: GO activating his new (yet unexplained) ability, "Brain Hack".
