Using the code key he acquired from Akira, Ai takes over SOL Technologies and replaces all the human staff with SOLtiS androids.
This episode contains the following tropes:
- Ambiguous Situation: Revolver speculates that Ai sparing Aoi in the previous episode was actually just an excuse to spare Pandor. He leaves Pandor to her own devices to figure out why Ai might do such a thing.
- Egopolis: Ai has dubbed the reopened LINK VRAINS "Ai Land".
- Hidden Agenda Villain: The cast is still in the dark as to what Ai is up to. He takes over SOL, fires all the employees, then reopens LINK VRAINS with all its features made free to everyone. It's speculated he may be trying to draw in humans a la Bohman, but they simply have no idea what he's planning.
- It's All My Fault: Aoi puts herself down for not being strong enough to protect Akira from Ai.
- Job-Stealing Robot: With Ai now in charge of SOL Technologies, he replaces all of the human staff with SOLtiS androids.
- Pet the Dog: Even though Ai fires all the human staff of SOL Technologies, he compensates them with huge severance packages and gives them time to collect their belongings.
- Sugar Bowl: Roboppi's island is a colorful, carnival-like land filled with Animate Inanimate Objects that stands out like a sore thumb among the grey islands of LINK VRAINS. It's implied Ai designed it as such so it would be easily spotted and draw in his enemies to duel Roboppi.
- Underestimating Badassery: Discussed. Soulburner reacts with scepticism when Roboppi reveals his intentions to conquer the universe, and doesn't appreciate being looked down on. To Roboppi's credit, however, he took down both Ghost Girl and Blood Shepherd, and without using his Skill, to boot. Although in Soulburner's case, trying to conquer the whole universe sounds ridiculous.
- You Are Too Late: Kusanagi, Takeru, and Yusaku make their way to the Zaizens' whereabouts in the real world, but they are powerless to do anything for the now unconscious Akira.
