- Sudden Musical Ending: A double whammy—Yugi and Joey's mutual attempts at sacrificing themselves for each other and Serenity leaping into the water to save her brother are set to "Total Eclipse of the Heart", then Yugi and Joey start Waxing Lyrical to "No Matter What", which segues to them just outright singing it.
- That Makes Me Feel Angry: "This gives me effeminate fury!"
