• Dark Is Evil: Serena summons her Dark Creator, a dark attribute monster summoning ten tokens each with 3000 attack points, cannot be destroyed in battle and if they defeat an opposing monster in battle, the controller loses 700 life points.
• Dark Is Not Evil: This episode is the debut of Neo Spacian Dark Panther.
• Good All Along: Serena tested Jaden and Aster on Sartorius' orders but wishes to save him rather than go along with his plans. She asks them to save Sartorius from the abomination controlling him.
• Hoist by His Own Petard: Dark Panther is able to copy Serena's Dark Creator and thanks to her Infinite Fiend Mirror trap, gives Jaden and Aster nine Dark Creator tokens allowing Jaden to sacrifice two of them to summon Neos.
