• Creepy Doll: Alice is the spirit of a doll in one of the academy's lounge and uses a doll deck which look worn out to say the least.
• Grotesque Cute: Above trope aside, Alice is a very pretty doll/girl, enough to get Hasselberry to fall for her.
• Never My Fault: A student rips his card after losing a Duel, even though he willingly played it. The anger and pain of the ripped card enters Alice.
• Victory by Endurance: When dealing with Alice's Doll Chimera (which can ressurect by sacrificing two Doll Parts from the deck to the Graveyard), Jaden just finds enough ways to keep destroying Doll Chimera until Alice runs out of Doll Parts, something she didn't expect was possible.
• Villain Has a Point: Alice's existence in the physical plane was the cause of watching the students caring only for victory and mistreating their cards if they lost, even seeing a student rip his card despite playing it out of his own free will. Jaden showing that he duels for fun and promises he would never mistreat his cards frees her spirit.
