• Death by Irony: HUGELY. Arkana claims himself the Dark Magician master yet he is defeated by Dark Magician Girl which he doesn't know exists, doesn't even know his OWN card can help his opponent nor see that his 1st Dark Magician helped power up Dark Magician Girl and this is how he loses.
• Dirty Coward: Yugi calls Marik this.
• Save the Villain: Yugi to Arkana. Of course Marik does what Yami would've permitted to happen to Arkana.
• Underestimating Badassery: Arkana is initially unimpressed by Dark Magician Girl, as she only has 2000 ATK. He attacks without realizing her special ability (and the 2 Dark Magicians in the 2 graveyards) have made her 100 points stronger than his Dark Magician.
• Violently Protective Girlfriend: According to Arkana, anyway — he derisively calls Dark Magician Girl "your girlfriend" right before she blocks his attack and destroys his Dark Magician.
• You Have Failed Me: Marik to Arkana of course.
• You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Arkana does this to his monsters disgusting his opponent. This tactic costs Arkana his victory.
