After having to move out of her apartment, Gretchen moves in with Jimmy. The pair, however, want to avoid becoming a typical domestic couple (“sweater people”) by partying heavily. Meanwhile, Lindsay is now living alone after Paul had left her, and she is upset at the fact that Paul was the one to leave her, not the other way around. Paul comes to the house to pick up some things, and Lindsay ends up seducing him, and the two have sex.
Gretchen and Jimmy are exhausted from their constant nights out, but when they attempt to have a normal night they get freaked out by how domestic they are becoming so they head out to a bar once again. Due to their constant late nights out, Gretchen has become unreliable at work and so Sam gives her a burner phone for him to contact her on. Later, Edgar visits Lindsay and the two burn Paul’s old things.
