"Amazing Adventure": While babysitting the wombats, Ellie creates a treasure hunt for them.
"Amazing Adventure" contains the following tropes:
- Alliterative Title: Amazing Adventure.
- Cuckoo Clock Gag: Ellie has a cuckoo clock in her house, but instead of a cuckoo bird, it has a moose, much like herself.
- Foreshadowing: Ellie claims that she doesn't know where the next Sticker Monster book is, and supposes that it is hidden in a treasure chest somewhere. This foreshadows the fact that the next book was inside the treasure chest.
- Growling Gut: At one point, Zeke's stomach growls because he's hungry. This helps the wombats realize that their first clue was a bowl of cereal.
- Show Within a Show: At the start of the episode, Ellie reads a book about a 'sticker monster' to the wombats.
- To Be Continued: The sticker monster book that Ellie was reading to the wombats ends with "to be continued," just as the sticker monster was going on her biggest adventure yet.
- Treasure Hunt Episode: In this episode, Ellie makes a treasure hunt for the wombats, and leaves clues around the Treeborhood. The treasure turns out to be the next Sticker Monster book.
"Kayatastic Split": Kaya tries to teach Louisa and Zeke how to make a banana split over the intercom.
"Kayatastic Split" contains the following tropes:
- A Day in the Limelight: For Kaya.
- Affectionate Gestureto The Nose: Beak in this case. Gabriela says that the cooking class will be 'Kayatastic,' just like Kaya, then boops her beak.
- Banana Peel: Played with. Kaya slips not on a banana peel, but an unpeeled banana.
- Big "NO!": Mr. E screams "NOOOOOOOO!" while skydiving with Ellie.
- Big "YES!": At the start of the episode, Kaya yells "YES!!!" because she's excited to livestream her cooking class.
- Continuity Nod: Ellie took Mr. E skydiving, which she said she would do at the end of "Postcard From Snout." However, this episode comes before that episode in production order, as Adventure/Kayatastic is episode 116 and Boxful/Postcard is episode 117, which creates confusion. PBS had the foresight to air Boxful/Postcard the day before Adventure/Kayatastic.
- Exact Words: Kaya tells Zeke and Louisa to follow her directions exactly, and indeed, they do exactly what she says. For example, the first direction is to put a banana in a bowl, but since Kaya didn't say that you have to peel the banana, Zeke and Louisa put an unpeeled banana in the bowl.
- Gonna Need More X: Zeke and Louisa, having made the banana split improperly by trying to cram entire tubs of ice cream into a bowl, remark that they're gonna need a bigger bowl. They decide to use a wagon to make their banana split.
- Hands-On Approach: Ellie's idea of skydiving is to strap Mr. E to her chest while doing so.
- Hollywood Skydiving: Ellie deploys the parachute just before she and Mr. E hit the ground. This is not how skydiving works in real life.
- Oh, Crap!: Kaya panics when she drops her phone after a banana knocks her phone off its stand.
