Sean plans to run as a comptroller in Staten Island. In order to help Sean get the gay population of Staten Island to vote for him, the vampires help him organize a Pride Parade. Meanwhile, Nadja and her ghost swap bodies for a day so her ghost can experience sex for the first time as Nadja was still a virgin when she became a vampire, and Nandor becomes determined to prove he can fly up into space after Laszlo refuses to believe his claims that he has already done so once.
Tropes featured in this episode:
- Bad Date: Once she is in vampire Nadja's body, Nadja's ghost goes speed dating to find someone to have sex with, but her behaviour scares off any potential lovers.
- Beat It by Compulsion: Laszlo and Nandor decide to experiment if it's true that vampires cannot resist the urge to count rice by having Guillermo pour a whole sack of the stuff on the floor in front of them. At first nothing happens and they declare the myth busted. Then they start counting it anyway.
- Body Horror: As the next phase of his slow vampiric transformation, Guillermo now has developed tiny bat wings on his back.
- Colin Robinson's face appearing on the back of Nadja's head qualifies as this as well. One event-goer thinks his buddy spiked his beer with LSD again.
- Daywalking Vampire: After discovering that Guillermo has not become vampire enough yet to be hurt by sunlight, Laszlo collects a large amount of Guillermo's sweat and distills it into a sun protection cream. He applies it to himself and successfully spends a day at the beach enjoying the day. He does, however, get a wicked sunburn that, combined with
a simply atrocious pink fur coat and wide-brimmed hat he dons at the event, suggests Black Face. - "Freaky Friday" Flip: In an attempt to allow her ghost to experience some sexual pleasures, Nadja agrees to swap bodies with her for a day, and the guide makes it happen.
- Grand Theft Me: When Nadja's ghost won't leave Nadja's body and return to her actual body, the Guide transfers Colin Robinson's ghost to Nadja's body as well in an attempt to force her out. It doesn't work.
- A Man Is Always Eager: Averted with Colin Robinson. When all of her dates end in disaster, Nadja agrees to let her ghost have sex with Colin Robinson, but it turns out he can't get in the mood.
- Naked People Are Funny: As Nandor returns to Earth after his visit to space, his clothes burn off due to the air friction and by the time he crash lands in Sean's yard, he is stark naked.
- Now You Tell Me: It is only after Nadja and her ghost swapped bodies that the Guide reveals she cannot force a spirit to leave a body, and thus cannot undo the swap unless both Nadja and her ghost agree to let it happen.
- Pride Parade: The vampires help Sean organize so hopefully the LGBT community of Staten Island will vote for him.

- The guide calls the body swapping of Nadja and the Nadja Doll a "Freaky Friday".
- Upon hearing Nandor's claim that he has been to space, Laszo calls him Major Tom.
- Space Is Noisy: When Nandor leave's Earth's atmosphere, he's still able to talk like on Earth.
- This Is Gonna Suck: After the Guide tells Nadja and her ghost that she can indeed help them swap bodies, Nadja pretends to be happy for her ghost to get this opportunity, but her facial expression makes it clear she does not like it one bit.
- Two Beings, One Body: Nadja's ghost and the Colin Robinson's spirit both end up being transferred to vampire Nadja's body and fight for control. It results in Colin Robinson's face appearing on the back of Nadja's head.
