When Tabes leaves for a conference, the Bears have to deal with her substitute, Ranger Norm.
Tropes:
- Antagonist Title: Ranger Norm.
- Big Damn Heroes: Ranger Tabes arrives just as Norm has the bears cornered to save them from being crushed by his bulldozer.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Norm appears to be an awkward, yet friendly newcomer forest ranger, but turns out to be an evil golf course planner plotting to illegally demolish the entire forest.
- The Cavalry: Tabes arrives to save the bears, along with some fellow rangers from the conference.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Norm, a golf course planner, gets defeated by one of his own golf balls.
- Just Whistle: Tabes gives the bears a conch shell to blow whenever they need their help. When Norm has them cornered, Grizz tries to blow the shell, but it doesn't sound. Fortunately, Tabes comes because she sensed a disturbance in the forest, and sounds the conch herself to summon the other rangers.
- Kangaroo Pouch Ride: Outback Ranger rides in the pouch of her kangaroo.
- Kangaroos Represent Australia: Outback Ranger is accompanied by a muscular kangaroo.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: When Norm asks his boss whether if the forest demolition is legal, the latter brushes it off as "we're rich, everything is legal". Norm sadistically agrees.
- Taking You with Me: When the rangers from the conference surround Norm, he threatens to self destruct the bulldozer along with the entire forest. However, Ice Bear stops him by shooting a golf ball into his head, defeating him.
