Grizz's quick thinking prevents a potential wildfire, but the praise he receives from doing so quickly goes to his head.

- Artistic License – Animal Care: The aquarium in the Aqua-Yaki restaurant has freshwater fish like koi and electric eels alongside sea creatures, not the best mixture for an aquarium (saltwater seriously harms freshwater fish and freshwater wouldn't be healthy for most sea creatures, with the exception of euryhaline fish).
- The Cavalry Arrives Late: By the time the firemen arrive at the restaurant, Grizz had already saved everyone inside, including the owner's beloved exotic fish.
- Follow Your Nose: Being a bear, Grizzly is able to smell a fire from far away. The firemen also claim to have this ability; when they come late a second time, they blame it on being congested from a cold they caught.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Grizz says this when he causes an actual fire in the Aqua-Yaki restaurant, in an attempt to prevent fires there.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: In attempting to put out fires in the Aqua-Yaki restaurant, Grizz ends up starting an actual fire.
- Painful Pointy Pufferfish: Grizz has to rescue the pufferfish in the restaurant's aquarium. The fish has puffed up when Grizz is taking it out of the restaurant, and he is clearly finding its spines to be painful seeing as how he has to juggle it.
- Psycho Electric Eel: Electric eels are among the fish in the aquarium, and they end up shocking Grizz when he takes them out of the burning restaurant.
- Sanity Slippage: Grizzly drives himself crazy with fire safety looking for fires to put out.
- Shout-Out: Grizzly's forest ranger get-up makes him look like Smokey the Bear.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: The firemen never wear shirts. This is most probably how they become congested from a cold.
