Contrived Coincidence: The Sea Folk's appearance happens right in the middle of Izuku's fight with Dabi and Stain, putting the conflict to a screeching halt.
Doppelgänger Spin: Stain's Super-Speed had reached levels where he can create after-images. Unfortunately for him, Izuku's senses are honed enough to see through this.
The Fettered: While The Sea King tries giving a Hannibal Lecture about how pathetic he is, Izuku begs he turns around and stops his nonsense because he doesn't want to hurt him.
The Gloves Come Off: When Izuku finds out that the League have been torturing Bakugo, he gives a look that leaves Stain "desperately [wishing] to run away from."
In Spite of a Nail: Despite the fact that Mirio got One For All like he wanted, Nighteye still acts as contrarian to Izuku and his capabilities. Here it is because he sees Izuku as a contender for Mirio's chance at becoming the next Symbol of Peace despite being "a quirkless boy who pushes their nose in where it doesn't belong."
Rank Inflation: With Izuku transferring to UA's Hero Course, Nedzu has created a new class — Course S — to represent their anomaly students, Mirio (to teach him how to use One For All) and Melissa (to act as observer) working alongside Class 1A.
Refuge in Audacity: While Nighteye thinks it isn't logical to have Izuku's opinion matter when figuring out how UA will handle anomalies, Izuku retorts that the whole point of anomalies is that they defy logic.
Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: Downplayed. While neglect from law-enforcement, in-person quirk testing and positive testimonies are in Izuku's favor, what cements his trial being thrown out is when, in private, he hands All Might's number to the judge and asks them to verify if they know each other.
