School's out for two weeks, and after days of shopping, gardening, reading, and other activities the Trollz are bored stiff. Obsidian suggests they go to Trollhiti, a tropical island where Zirconia and Spinell are regaining the use of their powers. But because two of the Ancients live there, it must be kept secret. Amethyst, Ruby, Onyx, and Sapphire are able to keep it secret, but Topaz tells Jade, who tells Opal, who tells Coral, and soon Simon catches wind of the plan. He and Snarf sneak onboard the plane and plan to ambush the Ancients.

At the beach, the girls are all set to have fun, but they're annoyed with Topaz for telling the others about Trollhiti, and further annoyed when she tells local surfers about the Ancients. Meanwhile, Simon breaks into Zirconia and Spinell's house to turn them back into a tree and dragon, while Snarf turns into his ogre form. Worse, when Topaz senses Zirconia's thoughts about what Simon's up to, the other girls don't believe her and think she's bragging again. When Topaz tries to stop Simon alone he webs her up with a spell, but Onyx soon senses Spinell's thoughts and realizes Topaz was telling the truth.

The girls realize what's going on and rush to their aid, freeing Topaz. Unlike every other time they've banished Simon before, they set an end date for his banishment, and with the Magic of the Five Simon and Snarf are sent to the Shadow World for 1,000 years. With the threat gone, now they can really start to have fun.

This episode contains examples of:

  • All Your Colors Combined: The Trollz defeat Simon by combining all of their powers together and using the Magic of the Five to banish him and Snarf to the Shadow World for 1,000 years.
  • Big "NO!": By Simon as he and Snarf are banished by the Magic of the Five.
  • Cannot Keep a Secret: Topaz, despite Obsidian explicitly telling the girls not to tell anyone who they’re visiting in Trollhiti, almost immediately spills the beans to several people.
  • Cassandra Truth: Because of all the times she’s tried to impress others in this episode, the rest of the girls don’t believe Topaz when she tells them she’s been contacted by Zirconia who is in danger and assume it’s just another one of her ploys for attention.
  • Exact Eavesdropping: Villainous example; Simon overhears Coral, Opal, and Jade talking about where the BFFL are headed for vacation.
  • Forced Transformation: Simon, after finding where the Ancients have been hiding out, forces them to revert back to their original forms of a tree and a dragon.
  • Orbital Shot: Simon and Snarf get this just before they’re banished.
  • Vacation Episode: This episode and the two that proceed it focus on the girls on a two week break from school and going to Trollhiti for vacation.
  • Wham Episode: The girls banish Simon once again, only this time, they set an end date for 1,000 years so he doesn’t have to ruin their fun for a long time.
  • Wham Line: The spell used by the Magic of the Five to banish Simon and Snarf back to the Shadow World has an end date set:
Away! Away! Far from here! Disappear for a thousand years!
