Agent Bennett’s relationship with his son, James, gets strained due to work, so he takes him out for a supposed father-son bonding at a marine lab (which was just an excuse to do more work on locating Zeta). Meanwhile, Zeta and Ro are at the same place searching for info on Dr. Selig’s whereabouts. When Ro and James get trapped in a sinking submarine, Zeta and Bennett are forced into an uneasy alliance to rescue them.

- Armor-Piercing Question: Zeta questions Bennett’s priorities when he has the synthoid shackled during the rescue mission, suggesting Bennett cares more about his mission to capture Zeta than the safety of his son. Bennett gets angry at the accusation, saying that he’s not some kind of monster.
- Series Continuity Error: Zeta is said to have gone rogue on the 5th August 2041. However, his first appearance had him disguised as a teacher giving a lesson, which was said to be six days later, meaning that Zeta was teaching a class on a Sunday in the middle of August, aka the least likely date for class tone in session at a high school
