Still hounded by a deadly foe, the party must find a way to escape this persistent threat in order to confront the manor's Dutchess and resolve their current issues.
- Self-Applied Nickname: At one point, the party discovers a journal entry written by the Dutchess, which she actually signed as "the Dutchess".
- We Need a Distraction: In order to try and finally get the Implacable Man off of their trails, Roval uses his Shadar-Kai skills to climb up a chimney, then enchants some of the silverwear they'd stolen for the Gable sisters and throws it off the manor's roof in order to cause an explosion of noise that it goes to investigate.
