Having escaped from the ballroom, but not the manor's grounds, the party prepares to rescue the friends they left behind while avoiding the threat said friends had tried to delay.
- Ceiling Cling: Roval displays his Shadar-Kai abilities while trying to avoid the large masked person chasing them by walking on the ceiling and hiding in a corner. However, due to the person being so tall that upside-down Roval is still roughly at eye level with them, it doesn't work.
- Clarke's Third Law: While hiding in a dark room to put their armor back on, most of the party is confused by how the room's lamps were flickering and how they were so easily extinguished, and Roval has to try and explain the concept of a "light switch" and how electricity in this realm can be controlled with science instead of just magic.
- Expy: When the group starts being chased around a manor by the large, zombie-like Implacable Man from the previous episode, the players are quick to nickname said man "Mr. Y".
