Bert signs Cedric up for skydiving lessons for his birthday, but Cedric grows afraid to go through with it. Meanwhile, Cyril tries to develop a relationship with movie star Ingrid Bellamour after getting into a car accident with her.
Cold Feet! contains examples of:
- An Aesop: Don't force your friends to do something they don't feel comfortable doing.
- Everyone Has Standards: Ingrid doesn't take kindly to RotCo's unethical business practices and loses faith in Cyril when she finds out he supports the company.
- Faint in Shock: Bert passes out after recalling how scary the skydive he just did was.
- Foreshadowing: Cedric chickens out on his first chance to skydive with Bert because he's afraid he'll be knocked unconscious by hitting his head on the back fins of the plane, as the thought of that happening flashes onscreen. Sure enough, that's exactly what happens when he decides to do it for real.
- Rebuilt Pedestal: When Ingrid finds out Cyril is making a deal with the RotCo corporation, she loses faith in him and requests the Evergreen Standard write an article about it. However, she feels sorry for Cyril when the backlash ensues and Cyril redeems himself by donating the RotCo deal money to her "Save The World" Fund.
