As Trixie begins to miss when she was Lady Masquerade, Prince Aareus returns with dire news, asking Trixie to keep the Luna Cat Medallion safe. Meanwhile, Trixie's father, Jackpot, remembers his time with Trixie's mother before fate forced the two of them and their family apart.
- Big "NO!": Flash lets out a "NOOOOO!" when Shining's call distracts him while he is trying to get a high-score on an arcade game.
- The Bus Came Back: Aareus and Devious both return after having last been seen in "Lady Masquerade". Aareus' mother Queen Miragina also returns, but only in flashbacks due to having died against Devious.
- Cliffhanger: The chapter ends along with Jackpot's flashback of his time with Miragina, when she takes Aareus with her back to her home dimension, leaving him and Trixie behind. This leaves the conflict with Devious unresolved until next chapter.
- Elemental Powers: The Radiant Dragon Medallion grants the user control over the elements fire, ice, wind, and Lightning. Devious even states this medallion in particular speaks to him, despite his belief that the Luna Cat Medallion is his "birthright".
- Origins Episode: The second half of the chapter reveal via flashback's from Jackpot how he met and fell in love with Miragina, and the two having two children together before she had to leave him to become queen. This also reveals to the reader that Trixie and Aareus are long-lost siblings.
- Secret-Keeper: Prince Aareus learns Flash's secret when he transforms back to normal after taking him to Trixie's house. Trixie points out to Flash that since Aareus is from another universe he can't really blab to anyone anyway.
- Tempting Fate: Flash tries to break his high-score on an arcade game, saying that as long as nothing distracts him the record is all his. Right as he is about to get it though, Shining Armor calls him, distracting him long enough for him to lose and fall just short.
