Carol Channing guest stars, and Miss Piggy has a new pair of shoes. They're too small, but Kermit likes them. Now Piggy has to choose between comfort or impressing her frog.

[She painfully follows his lead.] - I Kiss Your Hand: In the "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" number, Link, as a nobleman, does this to both Carol and Piggy, as a queen and a princess, respectively.
- Last-Second Word Swap: As Miss Piggy prepares to return her too-tight shoes, Kermit sees them and asks about them. Miss Piggy starts to say that she's going to return them because they're not the right size, but then thinks better of it and goes with the more flattering "not the right style".
- Love Makes You Dumb: Just as Miss Piggy considers returning the shoes, Kermit admits he thinks she'd look good in them, leading Piggy to keep them, despite the pain.
- Speech Impediment: Carol plays Whistling Cecilia, a silent-film star who never made it in talkies because she whistles her S's.
- Visual Pun: The Swedish Chef makes a "mëåty løåfër" by stuffing ground meat into a loafer shoe. The shoe's owner, a pig, demands it back. He puts it on, meat and all, and gets chased by dogs.Chef: ...De mëåty løåfër... de mëåt. Nicëy mëåty... [displays a shoe] ...de løåfër.
