- Everyone Has Standards: Though she was pretty annoyed with Dylan when he signed her sweater without her consent and rudely taking a carrot from her shopping in her basket, Florence shows up that evening to comfort Dylan when he is all alone because no one came to his concert since he was so rude to them.
- Gone Horribly Right: Dougal tells Dylan to be mean, grumpy, moody and cool if he wants to be a rock star. Unfortunately, it worked too well as Dylan remains that way towards Dougal, prompting the dog to quit on the spot as his manager when he realises that Florence was right about Dylan.
- Jerkass Ball: Thanks to Dougal telling him what to do, Dylan grabs it when he acts mean, grumpy, moody.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Dougal resigns as Dylan's manager when his rudeness is going too far.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Florence voices her disapproval and disgust with Dylan's rudeness earlier when he signed her sweater without her consent and pinching a carrot from her basket. Later on when she comforts Dylan and realising what made Dylan's guitar to sound like a rock guitar, Florence calls for Zebedee where she and Dylan tell him off for tampering with Dylan's guitar.
