When Principal Ramirez implements strange polices for school, Lincoln and friends try to learn the cause.
- Spot the Imposter: To get Ramirez to stop using the Astrid Method, Lincoln and his friends has Stella pose as Astrid and claim the method doesn’t work. However, this plan backfires when the real Astrid arrives and she’s able to do her power pose while Stella fails.

Clyde and Nana Gayle win Sunset Canyon's grandmother/grandson dance competition and move up to city finals against Chandler and his grandmother.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Chandler's grandmother appears a kindly old lady and not anything like her grandson. They even allow the McBrides do-overs for all their mishaps. Unfortunately, Mrs. Bernardo only allows one do-over. After the first day of dance finals, Clyde and Nana Gayle overhear Chandler and his grandmother talking about them booby trapping the stage.
- Cheaters Never Prosper: Zigzagged. Chandler and his grandmother booby trapping the stage was a success on the first day. The second day, they replace the McBrides's mint tea with snoozy time tea making them fall asleep until the next day of competition and brag they booby trapped the stage again. The McBrides use it to their advantage by reacting to the traps quick enough to improvise new dance moves.
- A Day in the Limelight: An episode focusing on Clyde and Nana Gayle.
- Disqualification-Induced Victory: Chandler and his grandmother end up winning, but when it was revealed the grandmother was really one of Chandler's friends, they are ultimately disqualified (and banned from every dance contest in Royal Woods for life), and Clyde and Gayle, who came second, were made the new champions.
- Evil Old Folks: Averted. Chandler's grandmother is really another kid in disguise.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Chandler's grandmother rips her dress causing an inflatable tube to fall off her body. Clyde turns on the same fan Chandler used to blow them off stage to reveal Chandler's grandmother was really another kid in disguise.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After Chandler and his friend are exposed, Mrs. Bernardo bans them from all dance contests in Royal Woods forever.
- Out-of-Character Moment: After eavesdropping on Chandler and his grandmother talking about how they cheated by bobby trapping the stage, Clyde decides they need to cheat right back. Nana Gayle tells him they can't stoop to their level and need to represent Sunset Canyon fair and square.
