"Hunn-cut Gems"

Liam shows off his farm on the Middle School News.
  • 15 Minutes of Fame: Liam's popularity grinds to a halt when the students begin watching videos of Chef Pat training Crikey to punch beef. Rusty tells him fame is fickle.
  • Artistic License – Animal Care: Kangaroos are herbivores, which means they don't eat buttercream frosting cake and ice cream.
  • Book Ends: The episode begins with Crikey beating up or about to beat up Rusty. The beginning for taking one finger scoop of Crikey's birthday cake and the end for bumping into Crikey making him drop his ice cream cone.
  • You Are Grounded!: Liam's Meemaw had been sleeping in the tractor and was "almost a goner" thanks to Liam's stunt of trying to make it fly off a ramp and then rescue it. She tells him he's doing extra chores for the next two years.

"Can't Lynn 'Em All"

Lynn becomes a pro wrestler known as the Brawl Monitor.
  • Call-Back: Lynn's wrestling gimmick as the Brawl Monitor is based on her stint as the Royal Woods Middle School hall monitor from "Schooled!" onwards.
  • Character Catchphrase: As the Brawl Monitor, Lynn coins the catchphrase "One hall pass to Loserville!", said whenever she defeats a heel in the ring. It gets to the point that her fans can quote it.
  • Company Cross References: One of Lynn's potential costumes dresses her up as a fairy, essentially turning her into a fairy from the Nickelodeon cartoon The Fairly OddParents!.
  • Evil Costume Switch: While Lynn's Brawl Monitor costume already contains sunglasses and a black jacket, she takes off the jacket before fighting as a face. Once she makes her Face–Heel Turn, however, she fights with the jacket on.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Literally. As the Brawl Monitor, Lynn starts off as a face beating up the local heels, but then wins a fight against Tippy the Cow (who apparently is a face in the wrestling community), causing her to get rebranded as a heel. She ends up embracing her heel persona... until she starts getting hated OUTSIDE the ring.
  • Hidden Depths: Leni, of all people, is a fan of pro wrestling. She claims it's because wrestling is just a "sweaty soap opera".
  • Mean Character, Nice Actor: The Meat Mountain is a heel, but he briefly breaks kayfabe while facing off against Lynn, saying he doesn't want her to get hurt.
  • Santa Claus: The last wrestler Lynn fights has this as his gimmick.
  • Shout-Out: One of the heels Lynn faces off against is a Classy Cat-Burglar, clearly based on the Batman supervillain Catwoman.
  • A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: When she gets taunted by Tippy during their fight, Lynn snaps and beats Tippy to a pulp. This convinces Bella to market her as a heel, leading to Lynn being hated on by nearly everyone in town.
  • Write What You Know: In-universe, Leni claims that her favorite wrestler is a former hairstylist (outside kayfabe, that is) and uses it as part of her gimmick. This is what inspires Lynn to work her hall monitor duties into her wrestling gimmick.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Lynn's reaction when she finds out she's up against Santa Claus.
