With the Royal Woods baseball team on a losing streak, Lynn recruits Liam as her ace in the hole: the Cow Pie Kid.
  • Ash Face: Liam after Lisa patches up his arm with a surgical laser.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Lynn Sr. tries to ensure Lynn that he will always support her, but can’t even finish his sentence before getting distracted by a sign for farm fresh eggs.
  • Baseball Episode: The episode centers around a baseball game involving Lynn and Liam.
  • Black Comedy Animal Cruelty: Lynn Jr. is banned from pitching for hitting a billy goat with a baseball, because she mistook his bleating for an insult: "Bad pitcher!".

  • Your Television Hates You: When Lynn Sr. is driving Lynn home after yet another lost game, there’s a report about the bad game on the radio. Lynn Sr. tries to turn it off, but the radio keeps playing until he rips it out of the dashboard, thus allowing Lynn to hear most of the program.

"Saved by the Spell"

Lincoln decides to pursue magic for an upcoming talent show, forcing his friends to do everything in their power to stop him.
  • Bungled Hypnotism: Zach tries to hypnotize Lincoln into dancing instead of doing magic. He is unaffected, while he ends up hypnotizing Meryl instead.
  • Comedic Underwear Exposure: At two different points, Lincoln accidentally makes his clothes disappear, leaving him in his underwear.
  • Dodgeball Is Hell: Just like previous episodes that this sport was shown. Lincoln's friends all suffer some painful-looking hits.
  • Foreshadowing: Yodel Boy having the same voice as Stella, except with a Swiss accent, hints that it's actually her in disguise.
  • Hypno Pendulum: Zach waves a pocket watch in front of Lincoln to hypnotize him into dancing instead of doing magic. It doesn't work on him, but works on Meryl.
  • Mind-Control Eyes: Meryl has these when Zach accidentally hypnotizes her.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Stella and the others boys can't bring themselves to go through with their dance routine because they feel too guilty about what they did to Lincoln.
  • Running Gag: Clyde getting stomach cramps whenever he and the rest of the gang scheme to sabotage Lincoln’s magic act.
  • Saying Sound Effects Out Loud: When Lincoln pulls an egg from behind Lucy's ear, she says, "Surprised gasp."
  • Saw a Woman in Half: Lincoln does this to Stella during the combined dance routine/magic show.
  • Stuffed into a Trashcan: Rusty accidentally kicks Lincoln into a trashcan while showing off his dance moves.
  • What Have We Ear?: Lincoln uses this trick on Lucy.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: When Lincoln learns the truth, he's not happy and tells his friends that they should've just been honest with him about how they felt.

Zack decides to use hypnosis on Lincoln to try and convince him to dance in the talent show instead of do magic. He isn't affected, but he unknowingly hypnotizes Meryl instead.
