Stall Monitor: Worried that his teacher has bad things to say about him, Lincoln tries to delay his parent-teacher conference.
A Pimple Plan: Luan wakes up with a pimple on the day of her first date with Benny, so she turns to the siblings for help.

- Bittersweet Ending: Lincoln and Rusty both get in trouble when their scheme to stall the former's parent-teacher conference is revealed: The former is sent to detention and grounded for a week and the latter has to attend yoga with Mrs. Johnson's mother. On the plus side, though, Lincoln does get praised as a clever, resourceful student and does take his punishment rather well.
- Cool and Unusual Punishment: Mrs. Johnson punishes Rusty for impersonating her by making him attend her next few yoga classes disguised as her.
- Disguised in Drag: Lincoln and Rusty's final attempt at stalling the former's parents involves the latter dressing up as Mrs. Johnson.
- Hyperventilation Bag: Lincoln uses one while worrying about what Mrs. Johnson will say to his parents.
- Irony: In spite of not wanting Mrs. Johnson to do something bad to him, Lincoln ends up causing such himself.
- Pregnancy Does Not Work That Way: Carol Anne the goat gives birth prematurely from spicy food — in real life, spicy food only causes preterm labour if the woman is sensitive to spicy food, which Carol Anne was evidently not as she had no intestinal problems
- Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: Lincoln worries that he's in trouble with Mrs. Johnson, and ultimately his scheme to stall the conference does get him in trouble.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: As it turned out, Mrs. Johnson just wanted to tell Mr. and Mrs. Loud that Lincoln is a very resourceful student, rather than a trouble-making one, but because Lincoln tried to stall them, she ends up giving him a week's worth of detention, and his parents end up grounding him for a week.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Mrs. Johnson’s mother bears the same green sweater, red hair and slim build she has, the only difference being that the former has more wrinkles, lipstick and a larger bun.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Lincoln is called out by his parents and Mrs. Johnson for trying to delay the conference due to his misunderstanding.
- You Are Grounded!: Lincoln gets grounded by his parents for a week after his scheme is revealed, and this is on top of a preceding week of detention at school.

- A Day in the Limelight: For Luan.
- Anticipatory Breath Spray: A two-man version: Mr. Coconuts has Lola spray perfume in his mouth as Luan leaves for her date with Benny.
- Goofy Suit: Luan attempts to use one resembling a unicorn to hide her pimple. An actual horse ends up being smitten with it.
- Help, I'm Stuck!: After her attempt at covering her zit with a horse mask goes wrong, Luan ends up stuck in the trunk of a tree. Her siblings all have to band together to pull her free.
- Leave the Two Lovebirds Alone: The rest of the siblings do this when Lola appreciates a romantic moment between Luan and Benny a bit too close and asks if he has a younger brother.
- Oh, Crap!: Luan has several involving her zit.
- Only Sane Man: Lori is the only sibling to suggest that just maybe, Benny likes Luan for her personality and won't care if she has a zit.
- Rise of Zitboy: Luan gets a pimple. She enlists her siblings' help in getting rid of it for her date with Benny. When all of their attempts fail, she tries various methods to cover it up.
