Rose makes a fatal mistake when she allows her boyfriend to spend the night with her.
Tropes:
- Bestiality Is Depraved: Implied during a conversation between Rose and Mrs. Beatty as Al's pet rabbits used to look at Al in amazement.
- Bait-and-Switch: At one point Blanche seems to imply that she was caught up in affair with her sister’s husband and that she was even pregnant with his baby. She quickly clarifies that this was just a plot point on Dallas.
- Cartwright Curse: Rose believes she's affected with this, as both men she's ever been involved with (her late husband and her current boyfriend Al) died after making love.
- Comically Missing the Point: Sophia tells Rose that Al “bought the farm.” Rose thinks this is literal of course.
- Erotic Dream: Blanche discusses a few she had before. Rose tries to pass off the noises she made last night as a result of erotic dream or a nightmare. It doesn't work.
- Extreme Omnisexual: As Mrs. Beatty points out to Rose, Al slept with everyone. Chambermaids, maid service, secretaries, schoolteachers, babysitters, neighbors, friends, even their son's pet rabbits looked at him in amazement.
- Right Through the Wall: As much as Rose and her boyfriend Al tried to keep quiet, she were still loud enough for Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia to hear. Hilarity Ensues.
- Wham LineRose: That wasn’t his sister, it was his wife.
