A Plot: After falling boxes trap Murray in the garage, he demands Beverly get rid of all the kids' old artwork and school projects except for one trunk. When the trunk goes missing, however, Murray becomes sentimental about what was inside.
B Plot: Erica has trouble parting with her New Kids on the Block memorabilia. Learning of their sister's former obsession, Adam and Barry finally have an opportunity to tease Erica mercilessly, but it results in a surprising turn for the brothers and they get hooked on the songs.
- Big Sister Bully: Erica revels in embarrassing Adam and Barry, constantly using their secrets against them or humiliating them in public. By the end of the episode, she realizes her problem and vows to start looking after them more often if someone else messes with them.
- The Cameo: Surprisingly, Lexi Bloom is one of the kids attending the screening of Erica's tape.
- Hypocritical Humor: Lainey accuses Erica of this after she sees her "New Kids" tape, as Erica once mocked her for having a shrine to Corey Feldman.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Played for laughs, Erica points out after ripping off Barry's tearaway pants in the school hall and revealing his briefs that it's on him for practically handing someone the opportunity.
- Karmic Jackpot: The second they find Erica's "New Kids" memorabilia, Adam and Barry waste no time exposing it to her friends and using it to irritate her as payback for all the years of humiliation she put them through.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Adam gives one to Erica when she accuses the boys of dishing it out but not taking it.Adam: We've always taken it, don't you get it?! You're our big sister. You're supposed to protect us from the world, but all you do is make everything worse.
