Super Humor is the tenth and final short to air as part of Oh Yeah! Cartoons, premiering on March 23, 2001.

Timmy, enamored with his comic books, decides to wish for superpowers. He test drives several, with humorous results.

Tropes that apply to this episode include:

  • Baritone of Strength: Timmy has Cosmo and Wanda deepen his voice to sound more heroic.
  • Circling Birdies: Timmy after he takes a few knocks learning to fly.
  • Company Cameo: The monster the Crimson Chin fights in the beginning is the Frederator Robot, but colored green instead of red.
  • Create Your Own Villain: Literally. After Timmy gets power, he realizes he has no villains to fight and gets Cosmo and Wanda to make one.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: The Crimson Chin noticeably lacks the black spot underneath the C insignia on his chin that he'd have for the rest of his appearances.
  • Flight: The third power Timmy wishes for.
  • Humongous Mecha: Two. The Frederator Robot in the Crimson Chin comic, and the baddie Cosmo and Wanda whip up.
  • Lantern Jaw of Justice: The Crimson Chin debuts in this episode.
  • Literal Genie: At the end, Cosmo and Wanda grant Timmy supervision... parental supervision!
  • Little Green Men: We briefly see one when Australia ends up on another planet.
  • Nigh-Invulnerability: The final touch in Timmy's super powers, applied via paint.
  • Rise of Zitboy: The moment the 24-hour lifespan mayfly changes from a baby into a teenager, a huge pimple appears on the side of his head. It happens again when his two sons become teenagers.
"Aaaaaah! Acne! DON'T LOOK AT ME note / US! note "
  • Noodle Incident: Cosmo and Wanda briefly mention another kid they gave superpowers to after Timmy crashes into him while trying to fly (off-screen).
  • Running Gag: Timmy using his powers to speak to a mayfly, who grows old in 24 hours.
  • Short-Lived Organism: A running gag has Timmy, who had wished for the power to talk to animals, meeting a fly who goes through his 24-hour lifespan over the course of the episode.
  • Shout-Out: An Australian mutters "That's not a knife!"
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: The first power Timmy wishes for.
  • Super-Strength: Timmy wishes for this second.
  • Written Sound Effect: Played straight and also parodied during the Crimson Chin comic; his first blow on the Frederator Robot has the onomatopoeia "KA-CHIN!" which would become a staple of the Crimson Chin stories. After his last blow that completely destroys the robot, a written sound effect reads "PAIN!"
  • You Wouldn't Hit a Guy with Glasses: The Crimson Chin would, when destroying the Frederator Robot. He breaks the robot's horn-rimmed eyeglasses with one huge whack from his chin.
