Ouch!

As Mothra continues to battle the Gyaos flock, the Albino Hyper Gyaos manages to get on her back and bite down on her shoulder. In extreme agony, Mothra desperately saturates the air with her energy reflecting scales, then fires a blast. It ricochets everywhere, incinerating the lesser Gyaos and sending the burning Hyper Gyaos tumbling into the forest. As Twilight Sparkle returns, they see the Hyper Gyaos get up with a broken leg, burns and wounds all over her body, and a black eye. She flies away in retreat.

Mothra attempts to pursue her, but her time runs out. The energy Twilight gave her returns to Twilight and she returns to the form of a Changeling Queen. Exhausted and delirious, she falls out of the sky, but Twilight manages to catch her. Spike joins them and they share a group hug in relief. Mothra confides that the full name her mother gave her is Mothra Lea. Twilight smiles and says it is a beautiful name.

You slept with Blade Dancer!?

Blade Dancer helps Godzilla Junior into his armor and then guides him to the training hall. The whole time, she keeps touching and flirting with him, but he remains confused and unnerved by her behavior. He senses Mothra's transformation, but dismisses it as Twilight and Mothra doing some sort of test. Blueberry Frost assigns him to train with Second Lieutenant Starlight, an Earth Pony male. Starlight decides they'll try the punching bag first, but Godzilla is so strong that every time he punches a bag, it bursts. After going through five bags, Starlight says he will punch it while Godzilla holds it still. As he punches away, he curiously asks Godzilla if he and Blade Dancer slept together last night. Godzilla says yes they did, and Starlight is impressed and a little jealous. Godzilla asks what he is talking about, and the ensuing conversation gets more and more laced with innuendo from Starlight until it becomes clear that not only is Godzilla ignorant of sex and romance, he is literal minded. Junior is a Chaste Hero who has no idea what innuendo is due to his upbringing, they only literally slept in the same room because he couldn't get her off his bed.

Godzilla senses Princess Luna's presence and turns in her direction. She is surprised, as she was hiding in the shadows and her coloring makes her almost invisible in darkness. He nods to her and continues training. She continues observing him, unwilling to allow any harm to come to her subjects. She guesses she'll have to wait for him to dream to determine his true nature.

Advanced darkness.

Princess Celestia is exhausted and grumpy. All night she had to calm Luna down and convince her Godzilla isn't going to kill them all, and all morning she had to deal with several nobles and citizens' requests. She's also doing her best to keep word of the Kaiju under wraps to avoid a mass panic. She goes to her chambers and takes a nap. She has a nightmare where Canterlot's night sky is swallowed by a massive black shroud that overtakes the countryside and city. She then sees something fall from a tower and erupt in a pillar of light that burns away the darkness and the teeth, claws, and wings within. Celestia leaps out of bed and rushes to find her sister.

Mothra is worried about there being potentially seven or more monsters out there, but Twilight tries to assure her that Equestria will not fall so easily. Mothra, Twilight, and Spike look up and are horrified to see hundreds more Gyaos, headed for Canterlot. Mothra wants to go after them, but Twilight warns that she's too injured and her body won't likely take another transformation so soon. Mothra has an idea and says they need to get to Canterlot pronto. Twilight hopes she still has enough energy to do this and teleports the three of them.

They end up crashing through a table upon arrival. They rush to find the royal sisters and bump into Celestia, who was on her way to Luna's chambers. After telling her what happened, they rush over and find Luna, telling her about the impending attack. Shocked, Luna says they must alert the citizens and surround the city with a magical forcefield. Mothra Lea says that will be a temporary measure at best, and they need to take the fight to the Gyaos, or else they will simply batter away at the forcefield until it breaks. Celestia offers to battle them while Luna maintains the forcefield, but Lea says she has a better idea. They just need to trust her.

They find Godzilla, who is shocked by Lea's injuries. He smells the Gyaos' scent on her and deduces everything that is going on. He says he'll need to be thrown from the tallest tower, which happens to be Luna's chambers, to ensure he's far enough away from the city that he doesn't damage it when he reverts to his true form. Meanwhile, Celestia sounds an alarm and orders everypony to find shelter, and that there is no time to explain. The Gyaos flock approaches, blackening the sky and causing some citizens to panic. Luna throws Godzilla as hard as she can and then zaps him with energy as he falls. Blade Dancer sees him falling and attempts to save him, but Celestia stops her. Godzilla lands in the countryside, and the approaching Gyaos are blinded by the light of his transformation.
