Elizabeth discovers Tuan is missing, and when she contacts Evgheniya to see if he's with Pascha, it turns out he isn't. She and Philip are eventually able to follow Tuan when he goes to a bus station. Eventually, they confront him, and he says he heard his little brother from the family he used to live with in Seattle is sick. Tuan begs Elizabeth and Philip not to report him for this, and they agree not to.
Philip meets Kimmy for her birthday, and to pick up the tape from her father's briefcase. When he listens, he discovers the Centre has used the virus in the tissue sample he and Elizabeth extracted from William's body against the Mujahideen in the war in Afghanistan. He tells Elizabeth, and he wonders what else the Centre has lied to them about.
Wolfe tells Stan about the KGB agents who were in Thailand when Gaad was killed, and suggests again they lean on Oleg. Speaking of Oleg, he gets interrogated by Directorate K officers about his work in American, and Oleg is able to get information from the man he and Rusian arrested about the corruption in food trade.
Elsewhere, Henry tells Elizabeth and Philip he's been accepted into a boarding school in New Hampshire, Philip meets with Father Andrei (Konstantin Lavysh), an old contact of Gabriel's, and Gabriel checks up on Martha.

- That Reminds Me of a Song: When Philip gives Kimmy a birthday cake, instead of "Happy Birthday", he sings to her the first verse of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young".
- Title Drop: Elizabeth, with the aid of Marilyn, follows Tuan into an International House Of Pancakes (IHOP).
