The Force Seekers was Teppen's third expansion. It released January of 2020, and added the game's third post-launch hero, Akuma. This expansion also introduced "EX Skins", special costumes for characters that change their artwork, character theme, voice lines, and Hero Art animations, but keeps them functionally identical. In this case, Evil Ryu was added as a skin for Ryu. It also added a new ability, "Ascend" which allows you to sacrifice unit cards by placing a new unit card on top, but giving them buffs or new abilities in the process.
The story for this expansion is primarily focused on Akuma's journey to the Land of Illusion, and the various opponents he fights along the way.
