Master Splinter is finally restored, and just in time- April and Casey are getting married! As friends and family from all over come to the Jones farm to witness the wedding, so do the Foot!

This episode provides examples of:

  • Back for the Finale: Pretty much anyone who's made their mark on the Turtles — even certain one-shots — make an appearance. This includes the Ninja Tribunal, the fellow acolytes from Season Five, Casey's mom, his cousin Sid, the Fugitoid, the Ancient One, Angel, Karai, Chaplin, Usagi, Gen, Leatherhead, Mortu, the Professor, and Renet.
  • Big Damn Heroes: The Justice Force show up to even the odds.
  • The Cameo: Bishop, the Rat King, Cody, and the Daimyo and his son briefly appear to watch the ceremony.
  • Chekhov's Boomerang: Serling's decompiler program, already used to seemingly defeat Viral in "The Day of Awakening" and converted into a beam used against her and Master Splinter in Tempus Fugit comes around one more time to permanently take down Cyber Shredder.
  • Face Palm: Raph and Mikey do this when Casey accidentally screws up the dates on the wedding invitations.
  • Killed Off for Real: The Cyber Shredder.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Cyber Shredder's Evil Gloating about how the Turtles fried his physical body but didn't damage his digital core lets Donnie know that he can be defeated with Serling's decompiler beam.
  • Noodle Incident: An Utrom informs Mortu that there is no sushi at the wedding, to which Mortu mentions that the last time he was near sushi he ended up smelling like soy sauce. This seems to also be a Call-Back to "Zixxth Sense", where a similar Noodle Incident was mentioned. This suggests that Torbin Zixx might be over a hundred years old, since this episode takes place back in the 21st century, whilst the latter is almost a hundred years into the future. Alternatively, this is just a recurring problem for the Utroms.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Mikey is April's Maid of Honor. In fact, when she calls him a 'bridesmaid' he corrects her: he's the Maid of Honor.
  • Series Finale: For the show. The Series Finale for the entire franchise under the Mirage ownership is the movie Turtles Forever.
  • Tareme Eyes: Mikey briefly gets them, complete with exaggerated shine lights, when he's admiring April in her wedding dress.
  • Took a Level in Badass: After his last defeat, Cyber Shredder absorbed energy from Cyberspace, making him powerful enough to face the Ninja Tribunal... and win (bear in mind that they previously dismissed his physical counterpart as “unimportant.”)
  • Tracking Device: In cyber space the Cyber Shredder converts one of Splinter's data bits so that it turns into a tracking beacon once he's back in the real world.
  • Wedding Episode: Discussed by Mikey.
Mikey: Every series eventually does a wedding episode, dude!
  • Wedding Finale: In this series finale, the Ninja Turtles had finally retrieved Master Splinter from Cyberspace, just in time to attend the wedding of April O'Neil and Casey Jones. Also at the wedding (openly and secretly) are various friends and allies of the Turtles from the past several seasons. However, the Cyber Shredder and his goons managed to hitch a ride on Splinter, manifesting during the wedding. The Turtles gets rid of Cyber Shredder for good and April and Casey are officially married.
  • Wedding Smashers: The Cyber Shredder and his Foot Ninja.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: One wonders why April's sister Robyn and her uncle Augie, the only relatives of hers to appear on the show, weren't at the wedding. This seems especially odd since Augie at least was fully aware of the Turtles' existence.
