Recap / Teen Titans Go S 7 E 2 Feed Me

Go To

The Titans free a marshmallow duckling that had been imprisoned by the Easter Bunny. But soon, they learn there was a very good reason it was kept locked up.

Tropes:

  • Animorphism: In order to amass enough Easter Energy to contain the duckling, the Easter Bunny turns Raven into a similarly unsettlingly-human-faced bunny. At the end of the episode, he also does this to the rest of the Titans so they can repay him by helping to spread Easter joy.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Whenever the Titans feed the duckling something, it pops out a marshmallow version of it, from strawberries to furniture to the Titans. The duckling also grows in mass every time.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: The duckling ends up eating four out of the five Titans, and in the past, broke its friendship with the Easter Bunny by eating a regular civilian to make more marshmallows.
  • Killer Rabbit: Once the Titans start feeding the duck, it keeps demanding more and more, quickly turning from an adorable and tiny critter into a giant monster.
  • We Used to Be Friends: When Raven calls back the Easter Bunny to help, the Bunny tells her that he and the duckling used to be partners. But the duckling became "full of himself" and started boasting that marshmallows were better than easter eggs, and then ate someone celebrating Easter in order to make a marshmallow version of them.
