It's Bumblebee's first day with the Teen Titans, but things get weird quick thanks to the Titans' antics...
This episode contains examples of:
- Body Horror: Bumblebee transforms into a grotesque monster after sleeping in the nuclear room.
- Comically Missing the Point: The Titans thought Bumblebee was a mutant monster, but just wanted pizza.
- Later on during the fight with the mutated Bumblebee, the Titans decide to try to actually treat her nicely by trying to make her living space (As in the nuclear reactor room) more comfortable. And when that doesn't work and Bumblebee's still enraged at them, the Titans assume it's because they aren't able to figure out a good room design. Robin points out the nuclear reactor... noting it took up too much space for her room.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": Bumblebee doesn't like it when she is called Bumbles.
- Jerkass to One: The Titans are this to Bumblebee, effectively excluding her from the team on top of their typical rude Titans antics.
- Jerkass Realization: The Titans realize that they were treating Bumblebee like crap... Albeit it takes her being mutated by the nuclear reactor room for them to realize it.
- Pet the Dog: After mistreating her the entire episode which caused a fight that led to a nuclear explosion consuming Jump City, the Titans finally manage to make a step in treating Bumblebee well: Getting a new couch that fits all six of them after she wasn't able to fit on the old one. Bumblebee, who's still a radioactive monster, is clearly still ticked off, but willing to accept her new spot on the couch at least.
- Promotion to Opening Titles: For the duration of the Bumblebee Story Arc, she joins the other Titans in their dance during the opening credits sequence.
- Rage Breaking Point: After being mistreated and abused by her teammates throughout the episode, she eventually had enough and just attacked everybody. Not helping is the monstrous mutation she went under after sleeping in the nuclear room.
- There's No Kill like Overkill: The Titans' (Or rather Cyborg's) response to deal with the nuclear reactor to help out Bumblebee, after deciding it was taking up too much space in her room. Fortunately for the cast, everyone survives the following event.Cyborg: Leave it to me! ADIOS, NUCLEAR REACTOR! (Launches a giant missile at it, leading to an explosion that blows up the Titans' Tower and all of Jump City)
- Title Drop: Several times, the Titans tell each other to communicate openly to help Bumblebee understand what's going on.
- Urine Trouble: Beast Boy peed on everything in the tower.
