Raven, after watching the other Titans trying to dance, summons the Dancing Demon to give them proper lessons.
- Be Yourself: After the Dancing Demon steals Raven's talent in the Dance-Off and she has to use "bad" dancing to win her friends back, she learns An Aesop that being a good dancer doesn't matter as much as having fun dancing to your own rhythm.
- Dance-Off: After the Titans peek into the Dancing Demon's forbidden book of dance moves and are forced to become his back-up dancers, he says that Raven can win them back in his dance competition.
- Shout-Out: The "bad dancing" that the Titans do at the start of the episode is identical to the dance scene from A Charlie Brown Christmas. Later, when Raven loses her rhythm to the Dancing Demon, she dances like Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
- Title Drop: "The Overbite", a real-life slang term for the face made when dancing badly, is also the name of the song that the Titans are dancing badly to at the start of the episode and Raven uses to win the dance competition in the end.
