I did meet a very hot woman after I checked in, but mostly got the hell scared out of me. 1 1/2 stars, would not recommend.
Horror In The Night is the 4th episode in the 7th season of Tales from the Crypt.
A wounded criminal seeks refuge in a strange hotel.

Tropes:
- Dead All Along: By the time Nick has made it into the ghostly haunted motel, he will have already died from his gunshot wound. He just didn't know it. Also, Laura, the ghostly woman haunting and taunting him around the motel, is a ghost too.
- Downer Ending: Nick has died from his gunshot wound and his double-crossing partner has succeeded in getting away with the stolen jewels.
- Fan Disservice: The sex scene starts out titillating, but as soon as Laura starts riding Nick, the sex becomes so rough that he's afraid she'll skin him. Soon, he starts gushing blood from the waist down and Laura sprouts demonic wings from her back as she rides him, ending with him terrified in a puddle of acid and tentacles.
- Mundanger: Probably. There's very little to suggest that the episode was anything other than Nick's dying hallucinations.
