Bowser's bad parenting finally catches up to him, and now must take a parenting class to reclaim his kids.
- Abusive Parents: To get his kids back, Bowser is forced to atone for this in the parenting course. And he does surprisingly well to clean up his act. Mario meanwhile just bombs badly, and Peach even calls Mario "a menace to society."
- Brutal Honesty: Peach's "You're here because, you're all horrible people" causes Bowser to cry and Mario to cheer.

- Bowser and Mario's "cooking adventures" reference the the "Cooking with Bowser and Mario" mini-series that aired.
- Footage of Bowser and Wario hustling for money in "Mario University" is shown on the custody agency lady.
- One of the clips Bowser shows to the custody agency lady is him in "My Mario Academia", throwing his children at Saiko Bichitaru.
- Here We Go Again!: After passing Peach's class and reuniting with his kids, Mario asks him to have another cooking adventure. Cue the two of them running off and ditching the Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings.
- Papa Wolf: Bowser ditches his normal stupidity to get an A on his parenting course just to see his kids again. And boy, does he deliver!
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: The entire episode is one massive Brick Joke to everything Bowser has ever done to his kids. His bumbling, neglectful and abusive nature towards Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings causes the events of the episode to unfold.
