- Dead memes tell no tales ☠️
- Bait-and-Switch: Initially, Luigi thinks Axol is talking about the ancient temple that is shown, wondering if there's a portal inside it. Axol then tells him that he was actually referring to the place next to it: A Starbucks.Mario: YEAH, THAT MAKES SENSE.
- Feed It a Bomb: Axol shows off his mad survival skills by taking out a horde of Ugandan Knuckles with Tide Pods fired out a vending machine into their mouths, that somehow act as explosives.
- Go Mad from the Isolation: Axol, full stop. Apparently time works differently in the Internet Graveyard, and according to him five years have passed for him. Surrounded by dead memes and a broken Inkweaver, he's gone a little cuckoo.
- Self-Deprecation: Luigi makes this kind of comment after Axol manages to scare off a horde of Ugandan Knuckles.Luigi: ...SMG4 episodes are getting weirder and weirder, bro.
- Sequel Hook: It's unknown why Mario was found in the Graveyard, but before he can explain, he decides to go to the bathroom.
- This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: To get past the Guardians of Memes, Mario uses his pluming skills to appease them. It last for about a few seconds before the toilet explodes and knocks the Pingas Guardian in the face. The remaining Guardians then try and kill them.
- Too Dumb to Live: Almost as soon as Tide Pods are introduced to the episode, Mario eats one and flatlines.
- Year Inside, Hour Outside: Time moves faster in the Internet Graveyard. For the Mushroom Kingdom, it's been three weeks since Axol got kidnapped. For Axol, it's FIVE YEARS.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: To get pass the Fidget Canyon, Mario jumps of Leeroy Jenkins, who he was using as a ride, as they fall. Its Played for Laughs, obviously.
