Shroomy don't look too good...
Bob's attempt to prank Shroomy goes horribly wrong, unleashing a dangerous monster upon the world.- A Day in the Limelight: After previously only appearing for a few minutes in "War on Beeg SMG4", this episode promotes Anti-Shroomy to Big Bad.
- Attack Reflector: Parodied. When Bowser gets ahold of Anti-Shroomy's missile launcher and tries shooting him with it, he sends the missile back at Bowser with an Uno Reverse Card.
- Ax-Crazy: Anti-Shroomy is absolutely bloodthirsty, raining fury upon anything that even remotely looks like a demon (including harmless signs).
- Butt-Monkey: Bowser, as usual. The plot involves Anti-Shroomy trying to hunt him down. His status as this In-Universe has apparently caused someone to found a Bowser Protection Service to keep him safe, though it still doesn't stop Anti-Shroomy from finding him.
- Department of Child Disservices: Not exactly a Child Protection Service, but certainly applying the idea of this trope, is the Bowser Protection Services. It's meant to be an organization made for keeping Bowser safe, but the most security they seem to have is putting Bowser in a playpen. Anti-Shroomy manages to break in very easily.
- Enemy Within: The main antagonist of the episode is Anti-Shroomy, Shroomy's psychopathic demon-hunting Split Personality from "War on Beeg SMG4".
- Fighting from the Inside: Once Anti-Shroomy starts trying to harm his friends, regular Shroomy reawakens and starts fighting to regain control. Humorously, from the other characters' perspective, it looks like Shroomy's suddenly started beating himself up.
- Good Parents: Subverted. Bowser is seen teaching his son how to ride a tricycle, a stark contrast to how he typically ignores his son. Then Anti-Shroomy attacks him, and he retaliates by throwing Bowser Jr. at the mushroom.
- "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: Parodied. Mario tries to help Shroomy return to normal by getting him to remember all their good times together... which is followed by flashbacks of Mario making Shroomy's life worse. However, it's played straight immediately afterwards, with the other members of the Glitchy Gang pitching in their good memories with Shroomy.Anti-Shroomy: SEE? THEY'RE EVIL! WE NEED TO DESTROY THEM!
- Kill It with Fire: Seeing Bowser as the "Mother of All Demons", Anti-Shroomy decides the only fitting way to dispose of him is to burn him at the stake. Unfortunately, with Shroomy Fighting from the Inside, everyone ends up forgetting about him until the end of the episode, by which point he's been reduced to a skeleton.
- Major Injury Underreaction: Mario is pretty blasé about his head being ripped off.Mario: Now that's just rude.
- Noodle Incident: When Fishy Boopkins sees Anti-Shroomy's missile flying towards the ice cream shop he's in, he simply says, "Not again."
- Tempting Fate: The episode begins with Shroomy happily chasing butterflies on a beautiful sunny day, remarking about how unfortunate it would be if "some sort of unexpected event happened". The camera even zooms in on his face as he says this to sell how Genre Blind he is in this moment.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Bob unintentionally kick-started the plot by scaring Shroomy with a demon skull, causing memories of his time as a Demon Slayer to resurface.
- Whack-a-Monster: Bowser manages to briefly evade Anti-Shroomy in this manner, popping out of three pipes and going back in before he can shoot. At least, until Anti-Shroomy throws Bob-ombs down all three pipes at once.
- Wham Shot: After seemingly getting rid of Anti-Shroomy for good, all seems well for Shroomy... until he walks by a mirror, which has Anti-Shroomy as his reflection.
- Wouldn't Hit a Girl: Bowser tries pulling this on Anti-Shroomy by using a Super Crown. It doesn't work.
