• Borrowed Catchphrase: Kendall tells the bank to “fuck off” like Logan would, but it only gets him an uncomfortable silence and a reminder that everyone knows he’s a Manchild.
• Break the Haughty: Kendall thinks he can be Logan and say whatever he wants, but is reducing to a shrinking child when Logan calls him a fucking idiot. Shiv too, thinks she can battle Marcia, but cruelly only gets an “I love you” from her dad when he thinks she’s his wife.
• Foreshadowing: One of Logan’s helpers exits crying, while the other reassures her that it’s just the morphine. Shiv gets front row on the reason why, as he thinks she’s Marcia and moves her hand to his crotch.
• Irony: While Greg watches the Waystar video about their diverse hiring policy, a long line of white men exit a room.
• "Not So Different" Remark: Greg does this to himself, saying he’s a Roy all but in his name, and shares their manipulation and conniving skills.
• Running Gag: Logan managing to put on a sock, either that it’s a good thing or sarcastic that it’s a good thing.
• Shower Scene: Kendall gets one, though as he’s brushing his teeth and looking anxious it’s not played as fanservice.
• This Is Gonna Suck: Gerri unconvincingly says she’s relaxed for the bank call when she knows Kendall has no idea what he’s doing.
