As a stretch goal for the Worldbuilders 2014 Fundraiser, Strong Bad tells/vandalizes the story of The Ocelot and the Porridge Maiden

Tropes

  • Bizarre Human Biology: Strong Sad has his wisdom teeth out "every summer like clockwoik".
  • Companion Cube: In his re-write, Strong Bad has the Lum Swooper married to a floor lamp.
"Will you please stop sleeping with that lamp?" she asked. "It's okay, I am married to it," he said.
  • Deliberate Values Dissonance: The story clearly intends the Porridge Maiden dying, marrying Death, having 1000 children with him and cooking his meals to be a Bittersweet Ending, which is too sexist even for Strong Bad.
  • Eye Beams: The page of the Porridge Maiden visiting the Smithy is changed to her firing optic blasts at the "Smithy-Bot".
  • Hidden Depths: Strong Bad's edits typically make things worse for the characters but in the ending, he modifies it so that while the Porridge Maiden still dies and ends up married to Death, she refuses to be defined by her marriage to him and makes a name for herself knitting lifehacks out of recycled blogs.
  • Intoxication Ensues: The episode ends with Strong Sad showing up, loopy from dental anesthetics.
Strong Sad: You can't brother me down, Mrs. Strong Fast. I favorited you on my Facebroach!
  • "Just So" Story: The story of why Baked Ocelots are served at weddings, apparently.
  • Married to the Job: All the men the Porridge Maiden asks to marry claim to be married to the job.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Strong Bad draws monsters from Doom II coming out of the Ocelot's ears.
    • Strong Bad tries to get Strong Sad's intoxicated ramblings on camera, a nod to the viral video "David After Dentist".
  • You Wanna Get Sued?: Strong Bad makes a Garfield reference, and draws an army of Jim Davis's lawyers in the background.
Strong Bad: "I hate Mondays," thought an ocelot. "Sup, Jim Davis' lawyers?"
